Centricle has a new favelet that is practically an application unto itself. With this bookmarklet (and one of the right browsers), you can measure any space on any website via a Photoshop-like drag-able marquee. The favelet prompts you for a marque color, and you're ready to go. The only restriction is that you have to drag top-left to bottom-right, a very small drawback in my mind. I see this as a real time saver for adjusting various pixel widths and heights in css development, among many other uses.
